What is iris photography? 
Iris photography captures the intricate detail and natural patterns within your eye, turning them into a striking and personal image. No two irises are the same, which makes every photograph completely unique. 

How long does a session take? 
Appointments usually take around 15–20 minutes per person. We take the time needed to achieve the best possible result, rather than working to a strict time limit. 

Will the process feel uncomfortable? 
The process is quick and designed to be as comfortable as possible. You’ll simply be asked to look into the camera while the image is captured. 

What should I do to prepare for my session? 
We recommend arriving without contact lenses or eye makeup and giving yourself a few minutes beforehand to relax your eyes. This helps achieve the best possible result. 

Can I wear contact lenses? 
Please remove contact lenses before your session. They can affect how light interacts with the eye and may reduce the clarity of the final image. 

Should I wear makeup? 
It’s best to arrive without eye makeup. Mascara, eyeliner and false lashes can interfere with the detail we’re trying to capture and may impact the final result. 

Can both eyes be photographed? 
If you would like both eyes photographed, that can absolutely be arranged. We normally photograph the right eye as standard, but this can be adapted. 

Can I bring someone with me? 
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member along to your appointment. 

What will I receive after my session? 
After your session, you’ll receive a professionally edited digital image along with a personalised eye report. Everything is delivered electronically once complete. 

How long does editing take? 
Each image is edited individually to bring out the detail and colour within your iris. Delivery is usually within 3–7 working days. 

Why don’t you offer prints? 
We focus on producing high-quality digital artwork, giving you the flexibility to print your image in a way that suits your personal style and preferences. 

Is my image kept private? 
All images and personal information are handled carefully and in line with data protection regulations. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy. 

Can I buy this as a gift?
